The site-specific steel sculpture ‘meandering space’ was co-produced with Nora Rabins. It responds to linearly structured spaces, resonating the idea of a straight line as the basis for order within such spaces. However, the straight line that is referred to in the meandering ‘stream’ of the sculpture is an ‘invisible’ one, as it is the straight axis that a meandering line ‘follows’ by crossing it while meandering. The sculpture may be visited in conjunction with visits to Denniston Hill in upper New York state.
